Die Gamescom 2026 in Köln findet vom 26. bis 30. August 2026 statt, der Auftakt erfolgt bereits am 25. August mit der Opening Night Live mit Geoff Keighley. Erstmals in der Geschichte ist die Messe komplett ausgebucht – alle Ausstellungsflächen sind restlos vergeben. Die Organisatoren arbeiten bereits an einer Expansion ab 2027.

• Gamescom GDQ: Games Done Quick kommt erstmals nach Europa mit einem dreitägigen Speedrunning-Marathon (Fr–So).
• Opening Night Live: Am 25. August 2026 mit Geoff Keighley und Eefje “sjokz” Depoortere – mit Weltpremieren und neuen Ankündigungen.
• Gamescom awesome indies: Die Indie-Show wird zusammen mit IGN weiter ausgebaut.
